Abstract: The nuclear fuel cycle industry is a high-tech strategic industry and
the foundation for the development of nuclear energy. In 2021, Nuclear fuel industry
keeps stable production and supply , continuously increase the industrial scale, and

further consolidate the support capability while against the COVID-19. Important
progress has been made in uranium exploration, mining and metallurgy technology.
Continuous improvement has been achieved for the quality development of uranium

enrichment industry. The R&D and industrialization of self-owned nuclear fuel brand
has been accelerated. Important achievements in the construction of LLW centralized
disposal sites has been made. New breakthroughs for the construction of underground

laboratories for high-level radioactive waste has been achieved.
