This report analyzes the new situation faced by China’s nuclear energy
development, and believes that: intensifi ed climate action is driving the global transition
to low-carbon development, and nuclear energy has once again received attention;

global energy security issues have become increasingly prominent, highlighting the
importance of nuclear energy in ensuring energy security; global advanced nuclear

energy technology research and development continues to strengthen, and nuclear
energy technology innovation has made new progress. The report looks forward to the
future development of nuclear energy in China: nuclear energy will maintain a steady

and orderly pace of development, nuclear technology innovation will further empower
the high-quality development of the nuclear energy industry, the multi-purpose
utilization of nuclear energy will enter a period of acceleration, optimizing the spatial

power, and the policy environment for China’s nuclear energy development will be
more complete.
